When I first shot with my good friend Evie, it was only my third shoot ever. We shot in Challenger 7 Memorial Park on July of last year. So much has changed since then. I edited with a random small app on my computer and today, I edited with Lightroom. The change is so drastic. I used these presets from the Alpha Collective that I bought off Etsy for $1.50 !!! Presets are a stable place to start and then create your own style from it.

I had an absolute blast revisiting these images and re-editing them. Even though I have only been doing this for about a year now, I know this will be a lifelong hobby for me.

To continue the trend, I am added new edits to "old" photos. This was my second shoot ever, as I chose to shoot in harsh sunlight and no direction. But Sophie was such a good sport and knew what worked for her and I eventually caught on. Shoots are always so much more fun with a friend!

Tip: always bring someone to sessions. They can relax better and feel more carefree if they have someone they love watching them.

Dana + Shriya are some friends that were gracious enough to stand the Texas heat and help me build up my portfolio. I can't wait to get back to it and take photos again. I shot these over a year ago and am doing a trend of re-editing them with Lightroom, and I AM LOVING IT!

Shot with my Canon t5i Rebel + 50mm 1.8 lens for these photographs.
